After twenty years of drawing upon aspects of the yoga tradition for stress relief, physical strength, emotional balance, and injury relief, Sarah realized the alignment of the eight limbs of yoga with that which she holds true. With a bachelor's degree in nursing, a master's degree in nursing education, and a lifetime of focus on all aspects of wellness and fitness, she combines compassion for others with a passion for knowledge and growth in meeting the individual needs of her students on the mat. Sarah is a busy mom of teens, avid hiker and rock climber, and lover of the outdoors. She completed both her 200- and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings at The Yoga Connection in Tucson, Arizona.

Class Descriptions

Foundation

Whether you're new to yoga or building your practice, this class offers lots of modifications and options for limitations and expansion.

Slow-flow Hatha

Clear instruction cues based in functional alignment and mindfulness make this mat practice desirable for those seeking the physical benefits of yoga and a hefty dose of stress relief.

Yin Yoga

With longer posture holds, this slow, deeply meditative practice gently stresses connective tissues to improve joint health and flexibility.

Chair Yoga

Using a chair for support and balance, we build on strength, flexibility, and mindfulness in this accessible yoga style suitable for all bodies.

Meditation

Pause and find the still waters within. Utilizing breathing practices and meditative techniques, the mind quiets, emotional responses are tempered, stress is alleviated, and mental clarity is improved.
