Focusing specifically on spinal health and the piriformis muscles of the pelvis, this workshop will blend learning with movement.

Our bones are constantly in a state of flux – breaking down and building back up. While many lifestyle factors affect this cycle, researchers have found that yoga—when practiced appropriately and consistently—can actually increase bone density. This is great news!
Join me to learn more about bone health and how you can manage your yoga practice at home and in the studio in a safer, more (bone) constructive way.
The chakras – energetic centers in our bodies that affect all levels of our wellness – can be invigorated and balanced in many ways. In this workshop, we stimulate and soothe the chakras using the vibrational energies of the particular senses to which each are receptive. Incorporating meditation techniques, breath awareness (pranayama), and gentle asana, we will delve into the special characteristics of each chakra while awakening and clearing them using smell, taste, sight, touch, sound, color, and thought – seven senses for seven chakras! All level practitioners are welcome and encouraged to join in this unique method of bringing awareness and balance to these important centers of our wellness.
